Events & Programs

The following are the kind of programming we are hoping to start at our new headquarters in downtown Olympia:

A PERFORMANCE SPACE

The performance space and gallery at Northern will support PLOP!’s main goal: to provide the community with performances that show the most imaginative and innovative of the contemporary art of the puppet. The performance space supports performances by cutting-edge puppet theatre artists at three levels: emerging artists, mid-career, and more established artists.

It will also serve to provide space for experiments and art projects related to innova
tive explorations that explore the connection between puppet arts and other disciplines.

The space currently doubles as art gallery and music presentation space to create a sustainable urban model for an art center that brings life to the downtown.
